CAIRO, March 27, 2011 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Embassy in Egypt announced Sunday the return of 95 Palestinians stranded outside the Egyptian borders.
The 95 Palestinians were flown to Cairo international airport then transferred to the Rafah land crossing, according to a statement by the embassy.
The embassy stated that Egypt made a decision to grant an entry visa for Palestinians who formerly departed from the Rafah crossing to Cairo airport to leave Egypt.
They had not been granted an entry visa back into Egypt before, which prevented them from traveling to Cairo Airport in order to be able to return to Gaza.
