SALFIT, March 27, 2011 (WAFA) – Settlers from Alei Zahav settlement uprooted 21 olive trees in Deir Ballout town in Salfit, north of the West Bank.
Ahmed Mustafa, mayor of Deir Ballout, said “the settlers uprooted the olive trees in the process of razing and expanding the territory around Alei Zahav settlement, which is (illegally) erected on Deir Ballut and Kafr el-Dik villages.”
Mustafa said that settlers continuously destroy the lands surrounding the settlement in order to expand it and build new residential units.
