TEL AVIV, March 23, 3011 (WAFA) - Israeli Knesset passed on Wednesday two racist bills against Arabs living in Israel.
The first bill fines any institution celebrating the Palestinian Nakba Day in 1948.
Hanin Zoabi, a member in the Knesset (MK) asked: “ Is accepting my history considered incitement?' , adding ' you are creating a monstrous state that will enter the thoughts and emotions of citizens.The Nakba is a historic truth, not a position or freedom of expression'.
It also reduces funds to any institution opposing a Jewish Israel ( Israel only for Jews).
The second bill was passed on Tuesday night which bans Arabs from living in Jewish communities.
The association for civil rights filed a petition Wednesday to the supreme court of justice to cancel the rsecond bill, stating that it violates democracy and supports racism against Arabs living in 1948 lands (under the Israeli control).
