GAZA, March 23, 2011 (WAFA) - Two Palestinians were severely injured early Wednesday by an Israeli airstrike on Shaja’eya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Another airstrike targeted a group of residents in al-Zaytoun neighborhood, with no injuries reported.
“A warplane fired at least one rocket on Palestinian residents in al–Mansoura street east of Shaja’eya neighborhood, injuring two residents, one severely. Both were transferred to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza,” according to local sources.
Eight Palestinians were killed Tuesday night due to Israeli bombardment by warplanes and artillery of different areas of the Strip.
