Arab Knesset Member Questions Barak

TEL AVIV, March 22, 2011 (WAFA) - Ibrahim Sarsor, the Arab Knesset Member, officially questioned the Israeli Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, regarding the Israeli settlers attacks against Palestinians.

Sarsor said that the repeated attacks against Palestinian residents and properties range between physical assault by stabbing or shooting the Palestinians to damaging houses, cars and uprooting olive trees.

“Why isn’t the Israeli army intervening to stop most of these attacks?” the Knesset member questioned.

Sarsor wondered what the Israeli security ministry will do to stop all forms of violence against Palestinians in the Palestinian occupied Territory.

Settlers’ attacks have escalated since the beginning of March following the death of five settlers in Itamar settlement in the north of the West Bank.
