HEBRON, March 21, 2011 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers from the settlement of Ma’on, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank Monday stabbed Palestinian Mahmoud Zein as he was on his donkey in an area south of Hebron to distribute milk.
According to eyewitnesses, settlers beat Zein severely after stabbing him in the chest.
He was taken to Alia hospital in Hebron, where he was admitted to surgery due to his serious injury.
Dr. Said Sarahneh, head of the hospital, described Zein’s condition as unstable.
