CAIRO, March 21, 2011 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo Monday said that it has coordinated the start of transfer of Palestinians stuck in Libya through the Salloum land Port on the Egyptian-Libyan border.
According to an embassy official, 34 Palestinians stuck on the Libyan border were brought in to Egypt and then transferred directly to the Rafah crossing to be admitted to the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Consul in Alexandria, Jamal Al-Jamal, and staff of the Palestinian consulate are supervising the living conditions of Palestinians on the Libyan border with Egypt and following up on the safe exit of Palestinians stuck in Libya.
