GAZA, March 19, 2011 (WAFA) – Hamas militias Saturday attacked Palestinians who gathered at the Unknown Soldier square in Gaza City demanding an end to division, according to witnesses.
They said the militias attacked the protestors as they gathered in the square heeding calls for protests until Hamas and Fatah agree to reconcile their differences and reunite the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Hamas has prevented these protests, which started on Tuesday in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and arrested several people, including journalists.
