HEBRON, March 13, 2011 (WAFA) - Ministry of National Economy Sunday found in Hebron a merchant transacting with products of Jewish settlements, transferring him to the Attorney General.

 Deputy Director of the ministry Maher Qaisi told WAFA that employees working in the Consumer Protection Department found two and a half tons of plastic manufactured in settlements.

Qais said that these measures come within the ministry’s plan to remove settlement products from Palestinian markets.

He added that inspections’ staffs work continuously to organize and monitor Palestinian markets, stressing that the ministry will not hesitate to punish non-conforming merchants.
