RAMALLAH, March 12, 2011 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas condemned in a statement on Saturday the attack on Itamar settlement near Nablus that left five Israelis from the same family dead.

Abbas “stressed his rejection and condemnation of all violence directed against civilians, regardless of who was behind it or the reason for it,” said a statement issued by his office.

It said the President also stressed that “violence produces violence and what is needed is to speed up a just and comprehensive solution to the conflict.”
