RAFAH, March 7, 2011 (WAFA) – A Palestinian worker was killed Monday in an accident inside a tunnel in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
Palestinians have been building tunnels between the Gaza Strip and Egypt in the Rafah area to smuggle goods and other commodities following Israel’s blockade imposed since 2006.
The medical sources said Abdel Aziz Sabah, 18, was severly injured in an accident inside the tunnel and later died in hospital.
