JERUSALEM, March 6, 2011 (WAFA) – An Israeli judge west of Jerusalem Monday ordered to release the three peace activists who were arrested yesterday during their weekly demonstration in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, central Jerusalem.
Palestinian Demonstrators from Sheikh Jarah, international solidarity activists and the Israeli left in their weekly demonstration broke into a Palestinian house, where a Jewish extremist family lives in after seizing it from a Palestinian family.
The demonstrators forced the Jewish family out, however, Israeli forces intervened and besieged the area to suppress demonstrators, detaining the three solidarity activists at the center of detention and interrogation ‘Russian Compound’, west of Jerusalem.
