RAMALLAH, March 3, 2011 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas called Thursday General Hussein Tantawi, head of the Supreme Egyptian Military Council.
Both sides stressed the deep ties between Egypt and Palestine on different levels.
Abbas wished the Council success in its duties and hoped for stability in Egypt.
Abbas had received a letter on Tuesday from Tantawi saying that Egypt will continue considering the Palestinian cause as a priority.
