GAZA, February 28, 2011 (WAFA) –, A 19-year-old Palestinian identified as Omar Ma’rouf was killed Monday when Israeli forces shelled northern Gaza strip.

Medical sources said that ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the dead Palestinian to Kamal Udwan hospital in northern Gaza.

According to witnesses, Israeli soldiers at the separating fence in north Gaza fired several shells toward a group of workers who were collecting gravel in the evacuated Dugit settlement and killed one.

The Israeli forces target every moving object with 300 meters of the fence, so far injuring over 130 people and killing three.
