RAMALLAH, February28, 2011 (WAFA) - The Palestinian National and Islamic forces Monday called for activating the popular resistance in all areas where the discrimination Wall pass and settlements are built, especially in East Jerusalem.
They said in a statement that they consider the continuity of the settlers’ crimes in the occupied territories under the protection of Israeli soldiers and targeting civilians and their homes a serious issue.
They called on the international community for an immediate intervention to stop these crimes and for the protection of the Palestinian people through international and legal institutions.
They stressed on the importance of combining the efforts to end the division and restore national unity which will protect Palestinian rights and interests.
The statement emphasized the importance of complying with the basic law relating to public freedom and adhering to the freedoms and public rights.
It condemned the Israeli aggressive policies and measures against the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
