RAMALLAH, February 23, 2011 (WAFA) - Prime Minister Salam Fayyad Wednesday urged in his weekly radio talk the Palestinians to keep making progress in order to ensure the nation’s readiness for the establishment of an independent
“We are working on forming a new government,” he said. “Our consultations have all been about this issue, to form a wider coalition of a national community, one that will tie lose ends and lead with steadfastness.”
He added: “We are doing this to ensure a life of dignity and pride for every Palestinian in an independent Palestine, with East Jerusalem as our capital, where the interest of the people is above all else and guarantee fair provision of services for all.”
Fayyad said that: “We will go through with our supreme national mission, and we must remember to focus on the details to make sure this national duty is performed very well. For without these small details, we will not be able to accomplish our bigger goal.”
