RAMALLAH, Feburary22, 2011 (WAFA) - Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad Malki Tuesday sent identical thank you letters to foreign minister of the 14 states that voted in favor of the draft resolution condemning Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem introduced to the Security Council last Friday.

He also sent letters to the foreign ministers of the 130 countries that sponsored this project, stressing the depth of relations with these countries.

He said “the Palestinian issue has gained new friends and supporters of the Palestinian people’s rights.”
