RAMALLAH, February 22, 2011 (WAFA)- Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh Monday said that what is going on in Libya is an internal affair, wishing the Libyan people “security, stability and peace.”
Abu Rudeineh called on the Palestinian people not to interfere in Libyan internal affairs.
The Libyan demonstrations started on Wednesday, February 16, demanding the ouster of Muammar Qaddafi and introducing radical political reforms. Warplanes and helicopter gunships were used to quell the demonstrations. Communication networks were cut. Many were reported killed and injured.
