RAMALLAH, February 18, 2011 (WAFA) – Presidency Spokesman Nabil Abu Rdeina said Friday that the Palestinian and Arab stance regarding the draft resolution to the UN Security Council condemning the Israeli settlement activities is “unchangeable.”
Abu Rdeina added that President Mahmooud abbas received a phone call from US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, where they continued the issues discussed yesterday over a 50 minutes phone call between Presidents Abbas and Obama. The two men reviewed the latest developments in Egypt and Tunisia, the events in the Middle East, as well as the Security Council meeting to be held later today regarding the Israeli settlement activities.
Abu Rdeina said that Abbas told Clinton of the urgent meeting of the Palestinian to be held later in Ramallah to discuss the issues of Abbas-Obama phone call.
