JERUSALEM, February 14, 2011 (WAFA) - The Israeli authorities Monday told the family of Husam Rweidi, who was killed by Israelis in West Jerusalem on Friday, to bury their son in the West Bank instead of East Jerusalem, where the family lives, according to the family.

The family said that it has refused the Israeli demand and accused them to trying to bargain with them by saying they would turn over the body at Kalandia checkpoint to bury him in Ramallah.

The family refused the deal insisting on burying their son in Jerusalem’s Muslim cemetery after praying on his soul at al-Aqsa Mosque as they used to do for a long time.

It demanded that the Israeli authorities arrest the Israelis who killed their son instead of blackmailing them by keeping the corpse.

Rweidi was stabbed by a group of Israeli at dawn in Friday while he was on his way to work in West Jerusalem.
