HEBRON, February 14, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday arrested two Palestinians and assaulted others in many areas in Hebron, according to security sources.
The sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided Wadi al-Haryeh neighborhood of Hebron, set up a military checkpoint, and arrested a Palestinian.
The forces also raided the town of Dora, southwest of Hebron, and arrested a Palestinian after breaking into his house and tampering with its contents, added the sources.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers assaulted a Palestinian from al-Tarama area, southwest of Hebron, after raiding his house. The soldiers ordered the family member to stay outdoors for long hours in the night while searching the house..
Israeli forces also raided Bani Naim and Halhool, two towns near Hebron. The soldiers stopped and searched Palestinian vehicles and checked identity papers.
Eyewitnesses said that a group of settlers attacked Mazen Maswadeh's house in al-Bowayre area to the east of Hebron.
