RAMALLAH, October 23, 2009 (WAFA)- U.S. President Barack Obama assured President Mahmoud Abbas, over a phone call Friday, his personal commitment to the creation of a Palestinian state.
Abbas emphasized his commitment to the a peace process with clear orientation that should lead to the creation of an independent Palestinian state as well the hat of all settlement activities.
Presidency Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rdeina said the phone call was very important to the future of the peace process and the Middle East.
