Elderly Palestinian woman injured in attack by Israeli colonists near Hebron; three of her sons detained

HEBRON, April 18, 2026 (WAFA) – An elderly Palestinian woman was injured on Saturday after Israeli colonists assaulted her and members of her family in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, while Israeli forces detained three of her sons.

WAFA correspondent reported that colonists attacked local residents in the Wadi Khneis area west of the town while they were working in their farmland, beating them and causing injuries.

The assault left the elderly woman, Umm Hussein Jabarin, with bruises. She was transported by crews from the Palestine Red Crescent Society to a nearby health center for treatment.

At the same time, Israeli forces detained her sons Hussein, Anas, and Issa Mohammad Jabarin.
