CALIFORNIA, October 14, 2009 (WAFA)- Richard Falk the Special Rapporteur of Palestinian Territory Occupied since 1967 in  UN Human Rights Council apologized  for President Mahmoud Abbas in official letter.

Falk wrote: “Having now examined the ownership records of al Wataniya Mobile. I find no evidence of any company ownership by members of family of the President of Palestine authority Mr. M. Abbas in particular on the part of his sons. Yasser  nor Tarek.”

Falk added:  “I apologize for any unintended  harm to the family that might have resulted from my repetition of the allegation which took place on Al Jazeera TV suggesting that such an ownership relationship might have explained the decision by the Palestinian authority in Geneva to defer consideration of the Goldstone Report until march of 2010. Again my sincere apology for any unintended harm and or damage that may have resulted.”
