Abu Rdeina Expects Hot Fall

RAMALLAH, July 29, 2009 (WAFA)- Presidency Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rdeina said Wednesday that U.S Administration efforts to revive the Middle East peace process  would be apparent in the forthcoming weeks.

In a press release, Abu Rdeina described the recent tour of the US Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchel as extremely important, since he had an overview of the concerned parties various positions regarding the peace process and its complications, which could pave the way  for the outlines of the US move in near future.

The main obstacle against reviving the peace process is the Israeli government insistence on continuing the colonization policy and refusing the US and international consensus of halting the colonization of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, the spokesperson added.

He expected a hot Fall, if the Obama Administration makes a breakthrough in the peace process by shaping a framework to launch it, otherwise the Middle East would face hard choices.

Abu Rdeina warned of Israel’s escapement from the peace obligations, by opening other fronts in which it meets the intentions of other regional forces who want to  export their crisis through endeavoring new risks that would have disastrous repercussions on the region.
