IOF Arrests Five Citizens from West Bank

WEST BANK, January 19, 2009 (WAFA)- The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested, Monday, five citizens from the West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Hebron, and attacked the city of Jenin, north of the West Bank.

In Bethlehem, three Israeli military vehicles forcefully entered Teqoa’ village, searched some houses, and arrested two citizens, according to security sources.

In the meanwhile, security sources in Hebron said that IOF arrested a young citizen from the old city and took him to an unknown destination.

At the same time, IOF arrested two citizens from Bani Naim village in the city after searching their houses. The Palestinian Prisoners Society in Hebron said that the number of prisoners in Hebron exceeded 76 this month.

At the same time IOF attacked Arraba and Fahma villages in Jenin, no arrests were reported, however.
