GAZA, January 18, 2009 (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed, Sunday, a Palestinian citizen in the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported.

The sources affirmed that IOF killed a citizen in Khan Younis City, the first reported fatality since Israel declared its unilateral ceasefire starting 2 am, local time (GMT -2).

Local witnesses said that the victim, identified as a civilian, went to check on his farm east of Khanyounis, when he was shot down.

At least 1300 citizens were killed and 5300 were injured since IOF started its aggression on the Gaza Strip on December 27, 2008.
