PLO: 900 Children Killed during Intifada
RAMALLAH, April 15, 2007, (WAFA)-PLO National and International Relations Department said that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed 900 children and wounded 16000 others, including 750 crippled during Al-Aqsa Intifada.
In a press release, it revealed that the IOF arrested 6000 children whose age range between 13 and 18, and 398 are still in prisons, of whom the youngest is 13-year-old.
" Israeli authorities' practices against children is a war crime, particularly when the IOF used them a s human shields," according to the press release.
The PLO National and International Relations Department called on the UN and HR organizations to exercise their role and exert efforts to protect the children of Palestine and pressurize Israeli government and its Army to stop violation against the Palestinian childhood.
