President Receives Chinese Special Envoy to Middle East
RAMALLAH, April 14, 2007 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas received on Saturday in the Presidential HQ in Ramallah, Chinese special envoy on the Middle East issue, Mr. Sun Bigan.
President Abbas briefed Mr. Bigan on the latest developments in the Palestinian Territory and ways to push the peace process forward, particularly after Riyadh Summit.
For his part, Mr. Bigan reiterated his country's continued support to the Palestinian people to restore his legitimate rights, voicing hope for a comprehensive and just solution leading to the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside with the state of Israel.
