President Meets with Special Envoy of India for Middle East Peace Process
CAIRO, February 11, 2007 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas met Sunday, in Cairo, with , Special Envoy of India for West Asia and the Middle East Peace Process Mr. Chinmaya Gharekhan.
Talks were centered on the Mecca agreement for national reconciliation which stipulates that the Palestinian blood is redline that cannot be crossed and the principle of political partnership as well as the formation of the Palestinian national government and the reactivation of the PLO.
President also updated Gharekhan on Israel's campaign to Judaize Jerusalem, particularly excavations in Bab al-Maghariba near the blessed al-Aqsa mosque.
