Jordan Rebuffs Israeli Digging in al Aqsa Mosque
CAIRO, February 10, 2007 (WAFA) - Jordan's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Omer Rifai stressed Jordan's stance that rejecting the Israeli digging in Al Aqsa premises.
In his speech in the extraordinary meeting for the Arab League at permanent representative's level, Rifai affirmed that Jordan rejected all pretexts Israel claimed to justify its diggings in Al Aqsa compound which constitute flagrant violation to all int'l resolutions and accords.
He called for Arab and Islamic move to fight Israeli scheme in the meantime he called the int'l community to shoulder its responsibility to stop Israeli aggression against Islamic shrines or changing Jerusalem demographic landmark.
Rifai called for Arab joint action to preserve Jerusalem and its sanctity and landmarks and too stop Israel implementing its scheme against Al Aqsa Mosque.
