BANGLADESH, February 10, 2007, (WAFA)- Ambassadors of Islamic states of the Organisation of Islamic Conference, to Republic of Bangladesh, denounced Saturday the Israeli excavations on al-Aqsa mosque.

In a statement, the ambassadors called on international organisations to condemned this savage act against Islamic holy shrines.

"Israeli aims at creating a new demographic composition in the occupied city and to illegally change the status, demographic composition, and character of the Holy City," according to the statement.

They called for an immediate halt of such provocative acts, adding that the Palestinian Islamic Committee is the sole responsible of rehabilitating and reconstructing of al-Aqsa mosque.
