ISESCO Denounces Israeli Aggressions against al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem
RABAT, February 6, 2007, (WAFA)- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) denounced the Israeli aggressions against al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Jerusalem and against the holy city itself.
In a statement issued today, ISESCO denounced the unstopped attacks against al-Aqsa Mosque aiming at the partition of the Mosque and offering it to the extremist Jews.
ISESCO also denounced the Israeli practices leading at dismantling and restrict the activities of the Palestinian associations in Jerusalem.
It also warned of the plans and acts, brokered by the Israeli Government, aiming at Jeudaization of Jerusalem.
Earlier, on Tuesday, Israeli bulldozers destroyed a part of a bridge to al-Aqsa Mosque. Head of Islamic Movement in Israel, Sheikh Raed Salah, said that the bulldozers destroyed the bridge leading to Almaghariba Gate of al-Aqsa.
He added that the Israeli destruction of parts of the bridge is a part of the Israeli procedures of judaization of Jerusalem launched since the Israeli occupation of the city in 1967.
