IOF Demolishes Palestinian-Owned House in Jerusalem
JERUSALEM, January 29, 2007 (WAFA) - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished Monday a Palestinian-owned house in Nabi Samuel village in Jerusalem under the pretext of not having construction permits.
Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers of Jerusalem Municipality, accompanied by IOF troops, knocked down the house without any prior notice. The house was destroyed with belongings and furniture inside.
IOF has been following a policy of house demolition in Jerusalem and its villages in an attempt to clear the city of its Palestinian citizens and replace them with Jews and colonizers.
