Alawda Centre Calls for Protecting Palestinian Refugees in Iraq
NABLUS, January 16, 2007, (WAFA)- Alawda Cultural Centre called on Tuesday for protecting Palestinian refugees in Iraq and ending attacks against them.
In a statement issued Tuesday in Nablus, Alawda Centre said that that the Palestinian refugees in Iraq face a series of crimes and massacres aiming at liquidizing them physically.
Yasser Sirsawi, Director of Alawda, called on the Iraqi interested parties, including the PM of Iraq, Nour Al-Malki, to protect the Palestinian refugees and to punish the criminals.
He also appealed to the international community, including the UNRWA, to work for protecting and providing them with essential needs for living.
