President Condemns Ongoing Israeli Aggression against Palestinian People
GAZA, August 30, 2006 (WAFA) -President Mahmoud Abbas condemned Wednesday the ongoing Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people which so far led today to the death of eight citizens and injury of scores.
The President called upon the international community to immediately intervene to halt the Israeli attacks, saying that such military escalation will disrupt all efforts to attain the truce.
Worth mentioning that Israeli forces killed today eight citizens and injured dozens during a military offensive against al Shaja'iya neighbourhood, east of Gaza city.
