President Condemns Israeli Abduction of PLC Member
RAMALLAH, August 27, 2006 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas condemned Sunday the Israeli abduction of PLC Member, Mahmoud Mosleh from his house in Ramallah.
In a statement, the President considered the abduction as a flagrant violation to the Palestinian legitimacy and a dangerous breach to the signed accords between the PLO and Israel.
President abbas called on the Israeli government for an immediate release of all PLC members and ministers, condemning the continuity of their abduction.
IOF abducted Mosleh Sunday evening, raising the number of democratically elected officials who have been kidnapped by Israel over the past month to thirty one, including PLC Speaker.
The President also condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly the today's Israeli killing of three citizens at the east of Gaza City.
He reiterated his call to the international community, particularly the Quartet to end the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people to prevent the deterioration of the situation and to preserve efforts for calm.
