In Draft Resolution to the Arab Summit:<br>Arab Foreign Ministers Denounce Israeli Unilateral Solutions, Urge Quartet to Resume Serious Act

KHARTOUM, March 26, 2006, (WAFA)- The Arab Foreign Ministers urged Sunday the Quartet Committee to resume the "serious act" for achieving the just and comprehensive peace based on the UN relevant resolutions and the Arab Initiative for peace (2002) and the Road Map.... According to a draft resolution presented to the "Arab Summit", to be held next Tuesday in Khartoum, the meeting Arab Foreign Ministers called on the international community and organizations to reject all Israeli unilateral solutions which breach the international law.... They asserted on the continuity of supporting the Palestinian economy which suffers deterioration because the Israeli (continued) aggression in the last five years.... The draft resolution, which was specially on the Palestinian question, called on the Arab nations to support budget of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) under the term of the Arab Summit resolution in Beirut 2002.... The Foreign Ministers denounced the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people including withholding monthly customs revenues due to the PNA, as well as blocking crossings.... The Arab Countries reiterate that achieving peace could not be realized but through the withdrawal of the 1967 Israeli occupation from the Palestinian and Arab lands, solving the issue of the Palestinian refugees according to the UN resolution 194 and establishing the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital....
