US Congress to Transfer $600 Million to Israel
TEL AVIV, December 24, 2005 (WAFA) - The Israeli Daily Haaretz said Saturday that the United States Congress approved transfering of $600 million in aid to Israel for funding joint security projects.
According to the daily,$600 million, $133 million will be used to develop the "Arrow" missile program, a collaborative project between Israel Aircraft Industries and Boeing.
It added that some $10 million will be invested in developing a missile capable of intercepting short-range missiles.
