Palestine Participates as Observer in Sixth WTO Ministerial Conference
RAMALLAH, December 19, 2005 (WAFA)-Palestine participated as an observer in the Sixth World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong..... In a statement issued Monday in Rammalah, the Minister of National Economy (MONE) Mazen Sonokrot said that the participation of Palestine in this Ministerial Conference would give the Palestinian economy and private sector a start for their rehabilitation and integrity within the World Order.... He pointed out that Palestine participation in WTO has achieved multi-commercial relationships, adding that the world will be the main market of the Palestinian goods instead of Israeli markets.... This sixth conference, which held in Hong Kong, 13-18 December 2005, was vital for enabling the four-year-old Doha Development Agenda negotiations to move forward sufficiently to conclude the Round in 2006....
