2 Citizens Wounded in GS
GAZA, December 18, 2005 (WAFA) - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) wounded Sunday two citizens in the Gaza Strip(GS), medical sources said.
Medics reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire towards Wail al-Qahwagi 23, east of GS, wounding him with two gun shots in his leg. He is in critical condition. The IOF prevented the ambulance to reach the site to evacuate him to Hospital.
In Beit Hannon, a policeman was wounded with a shrapnel when an Israeli helicopter fired one missile on al-Izba area, along Salah ed-Deen street. He was taken to al-Awda hospital in Jabalia city. His condition is reported to be moderate.
Israeli warplanes launched at overnight several raids on the northern area of the GS, causing a state of panic among citizens mostly children and women .
