RAMALLAH, February 28, 2006 (WAFA) - Presidency Secretary General, Tayyeb Abdul Raheem, denied Tuesday the media reports that Egypt pressurizes Fateh Movement and other factions to join the new government.

Abdul Raheem said that these reports are entirely false, adding that Egypt has always been cautious not to meddle in the Palestinian internal affairs.

He revealed that those who made these reports are known to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), stressing that such reports are never true.

Abdul Raheem said stance of Fateh is clear, asserting that this stance calls on Hamas to commit to program of the PLO, the resolutions of the Arab Summits and the President's appointment letter to Hamas to form a government.
