President Abbas Says Tel Aviv Blast "Dangerous"
RAMALLAH, January 19, 2006 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas described Thursday the blast in Tel Aviv as "very dangerous".
President Abbas told reporters , in Ramallah, that the operation is a flagrant violation of the of the announced truce, demanding an immediate halt of military actions, specially against civilians.
"Certainly they (the perpetrators of the operation) wanted to affect the democratic elections due to be held next week and to ruin the security situation as a whole," President Abbas added.
He hinted that there might be a foreign party that settles scores, because "the national interests never call for committing such acts."
