President Abbas Urges Palestinians to Participate in Elections
RAMALLAH, January 18, 2006 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas urged the Palestinian people to participate in the elections which will run on January 25.... During a ceremony held in the Ministry of Agricultural headquarter in Ramallah city, Abbas said that every Palestinian must practice his democratic right in the lections, saying that the Palestinian democracy will continue.... Answering journalists question regarding readiness to cooperate with Israeli Acting Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, Abbas revealed that the Palestinian will not hesitate to negotiate with him, expressing his hope to reach a peaceful solution through negotiation and not through military aggressions....
