TEL AVIV, May 25, 2004, (WAFA)- Families of Israeli refuseniks directed Tuesday a strong slam to the Israeli president Moshe Katsav, protesting his critical remarks concerning the Israeli refuseniks who refuse to serve in the Occupied Palestinian Territories OPT.... The families said in a message that Katsav was dead silent concerning house demolitions in Rafah which left thousands of civilians homeless. He was also tight- lipped when the Israeli tanks fired shells against civilians in a peaceful demonstration, which only brings to mind the despotic regimes.... “Our sons prefer being behind jails than participating in perpetrating crimes and tragedies as the ones committed by IOF soldiers”, they added.... They reiterated that the Israeli army in being an occupation army weakens their high spirit and turns the daily life of the Palestinian people into an inferno...
