NEWYOURK, May 20, 2004 (WAFA)-The UN Security Council Condemning the killing of Palestine civilian that took place in the Rafah City.... Adopting Council resolution 1544 (2004), by a vote of 14 in favour, none against and 1 abstention (United States), the Council Calling on Israel to address its security needs within the boundaries of international law.... Security Council also expressed grave concern regarding the humanitarian situation of Palestinians made homeless in the Rafah area and calls for the provision of emergency assistance to them".... Speaking after the Council action, the Observer for Palestine, Nasser al-Kudwa, said slaughter of innocent Palestinian children by the Israeli occupying forces in the Rafah camp was the most recent and most telling illustration of the vicious and barbaric actions of the occupying Power....
