JENIN, May 19, 2004, (WAFA) –Palestinian security sources reported early Wednesday that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) assassinated a citizen after breaking into Jenin City.... The sources confirmed that Israeli undercover units, backed by tens of military vehicles, broke into the city area of al-Jabriat and assassinated Mohammed Turkman 22.... Meanwhile, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested two university students in Borqin town of the city, local sources said.... The sources added that a number of military vehicles incurred into the town, stormed several houses and arrested Nidal Thmeinat 19, and Rami Salama 21. They were led into an unknown place.... Earlier on Tuesday, a citizen was murdered and another was shot and kidnapped in 'Anza village of the city, witnesses and Palestinian medical sources said.... The witnesses said that an Israeli undercover units opened intensive fire at a civilian car driving on the road between Azoon and Sanoor villages, killing a citizen and wounding and kidnapping another.... Palestinian medical sources in the city said that Mohammed Aubeid 24 was killed as being shot with several gunshots in the body and Mohammed Barahma 25, was shot and kidnapped.... In Qalqilya, IOF rolled early Wednesday into Azoon town of the city and arrested two civilians, WAFA reporter said.... He added that Israeli undercover units broke into the town, stormed several houses amid intensive shooting shortly before arresting Mohammed Nassar 23, and Esd'ad Sweedan 27.... Eyewitnesses confirmed that the IOF arrested Nassar and Sweedan after stripping them and burning their clothes. They were led almost naked to an unknown place.... In Tulkarem, IOF troops wounded Tuesday evening two citizens as they incurred into the city refugee camp amid intensive shooting, witnesses said.... They told WAFA that IOF soldiers, backed by an armoured personnel carries, and covered by an Israeli helicopter, broke into the refugee camp and opened random fire at the civilians’ houses, wounding two civilians.... Palestinian medical sources confirmed that Mohammed Haroon was shot with a live gunshot in the thigh and Mohammed Jarban 17, was shot in the right leg.... In Bethlehem, IOF incurred into al-Khader town and imposed a tight curfew, witnesses said.... They added that massive Israeli vehicles and infantry patrols stormed the town amid intensive shooting and conducted a house-to-house search campaign, installing a number of military checkpoints in the town area of al-Bawaba and denying any access from-into the town.... -
