IOF Kills Palestinian in Tulkarem, Arrests 2 in Nablus
TULKAREM, March 3, 2004, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shot dead Wednesday a Palestinian civilian, and wounded another, in the refugee camp of Tulkarem in northern West Bank, witnesses and medics said.... Witnesses told WAFA reporter that about 20 Israeli armoured vehicles incurred early morning into the camp and randomly opened fire on houses killing a civilian and injuring another.... "Israeli troops stormed several houses and arrested two citizens,†said the eyewitness.... Medics at Thabet Hospital, in the town Tulkarem, reported that Qays O'ufa, 18, was shot dead in a cold blood in the forehead and chest, adding that another civilian was moderately wounded.... O'ufa's brother, Hashem, was also murdered by IOF last year, said the neighbours.... Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said that the IOF arrested two citizens identified as Ali Al-Kholi and Mohammed Al-Akhras.... The medics said that the IOF is still stationed around Thabet Hospital, while patrols moving around the camp.... The IOF backed by armoured vehicles has also raided the West Bank city of Nablus, broke into several houses, and arrested two civilians, witnesses in the city said.... They said that the soldiers arrested Jasser Awadda, 34, father of four, and Ihab Zeyad Al-Titti, 15 from their homes, adding that the soldiers have also interrogated Al-Titti's father and brother....
