RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine sharply decrease by 26.61% in April compared to March, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

The sharp decline was due to the decrease in the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 29.76%, which had a share of 82.98% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 24.00%, which had a share of 2.68% of the total industry, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 8.98%, which had a share of 11.95% of the total industry, and the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 8.45%, which had a share of 2.39% of the total industry.
