GAZA, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 (WAFA) – At least 20 Palestinians were shot and injured with live ammunition and others suffocated by tear gas as Israeli navy forces attacked the ‘Great March of Return’ protests offshore the northwestern city of Gaza, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC).
Israeli navy forces opened fire at hundreds of Palestinian who took part in a peaceful demonstration as part of the Great March of Return protests offshore the northwestern city of Gaza, near the maritime border with Israel, shooting and injuring at least 20 people.
They were taken to Dar al-Shifa hospital, west of Gaza city, for treatment, where their medical condition was described as moderate.
Others suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired at them by the forces.
